SIP Modelmaking

In this project, we were tasked to redesign an existing dementia home in Pasir Ris - Apex Harmony Lodge. Our main objective given was to redesign the space in a way that is suitable for dementia patients while applying the latest knowledge from various case studies worldwide on the design principles most suitable for Dementia & Alzheimer's patients. Using our knowledge and research we were tasked to redesign a certain area of our choice in the dementia home, mine being the reception and central living area. My approach to this project was to take into account the comfort and happiness of the patients to give them an opportunity to live their life to the fullest.
