PROJECT INFO

The proposed project site for development was a rooftop garden within the College of Design and Engineering, National University of Singapore. My responsibilities included site surveys and contextual analysis, concept development within real-world constraints, iterative design refinement based on technical and stakeholder feedback, and participation in detailed design reviews. This project revolved around designing a sustainable Rooftop herb garden, which can be used for students' learning and relaxation. The concept was to use sustainable materials and keep the existing planters in place to reduce the budget strain. Corn/Bamboo plants are used as protectors to shield the view to the outside to create a relaxing interior where students can be more isolated from the chaos of a University Campus and take in the pleasant scents of a herb garden. The floor area is divided into 3 sections: Herbs, Vegetables and Flowers.
